Possibly one of the rarest machines Paragon Pinball has ever had available. It is a highly rare machine made by Pinball Shop from Italy in 1988. They also made Horror which uses elements from famous horror films such as Fright Night and Jungle Queen which uses Romancing the Stone as a backglass and shown in our backglass gallery page. It is unclear how many they produced and the only other pictures online of this machine show it in an identical cabinet in blue not red. Which interestingly matches the two girls dress colours so not sure if there was a reason for this.
The game clearly isn’t based on the film of the same name but instead is based on Pac Man and Nintendo game characters. The Ghosts from Pac Man along with the letters WOW on playfield than mix with the girl who needs saving on Donkey Kong.
It has some interesting cabinet features most notably a circular fluorescent tube, wooden siderails and a framed wooden backbox surround with a wooden metal topped lockdown bar this machine certainly does things differently.
It has some interesting playfield features including an activated ramp for accessing the upper PF feature. 2 x Drop Target Banks and some very nice flow shots.
The game is currently being worked on and repairs being made.
